The following rhyme was written after listening to the Low Country Boys, a gospel group who sing the Gospel message in oor ain tongue.

Did ye iver mae freen panther what ye micht sae
Tae tha man up abane on thon judgement deh?
Whun ye’r axt tae accoont for yer dehs here on airth,
Wul ye try tae tell lies for a that yer worth?
But if ye’d jest stap an hae tha thochts that aa hae
Ye’ll bae mair nir tunge tied on that fatefa’ deh;
For a doot whun a cum tae square up mae debt
It’ll lakely naw add up, an A’ll naw feel ower gret.
Sae maebae noo’s tha time tae prae on bendit knee
An ax him tae forgie an oul wretch lake me;
An then on that deh whun he luks in tha book
A’ll get intae glory an naw hear his rebuke.
